Patching takes a matching piece of carpet, often from a closet or a remnant, and sets it invisibly into the damaged area. Restretching pulls loose, wavy carpet drum tight again, which does more than look better: ripples are a trip hazard and wear out fastest at the fold. Reseaming closes separating joints before they fray beyond saving. On rugs, we address unraveling edges, fringe damage, and worn binding so the piece is sound again.
